History begins when you realise that the distinction between those now living and the departed is not an absolute one. That history is the thoughts of those no longer living. That what they have thought and felt, you can think and feel. History in other words is the record of the works of an undying mind. What could a group of desperate young men in England, 400 years ago, thought and felt when they dedicated themselves to the total elimination of all officialdom and the forces opposing them? 'Guy Fawkes 5/11 Treason' is the making and remaking of history in which the leading actors come to life on a stage we also find ourselves players on.

My mother used to play it on the piano at home. She was very good. That's the sort of thing that "imprints" on you at a young age.

Hi there millionrainbows.   Well how about that, you made it. Great you are here thanks.

Were you introduced to Beethoven has a child?  I mean his music of course.   :D

Have a good look round!

Glenn Gould, WTC book I. I disagree with the way he plays the Prelude Nr. 1 (no pedal), but the rest of it is great.

When that I was and a little tiny boy,
With hey, ho, the wind and the rain,
A foolish thing was but a toy,
For the rain it raineth every day.

But when I came to man’s estate,
With hey, ho, the wind and the rain,
’Gainst knaves and thieves men shut their gate,
For the rain it raineth every day.

But when I came, alas! to wive,
With hey, ho, the wind and the rain,
By swaggering could I never thrive,
For the rain it raineth every day.

But when I came unto my beds,
With hey, ho, the wind and the rain,
With toss-pots still had drunken heads,
For the rain it raineth every day.

A great while ago the world begun,
With hey, ho, the wind and the rain,
But that’s all one, our play is done,
And we’ll strive to please you every day.
